Video Shows Massive Buck Attacking Family’s Dog

“Oh my god” is the first thing that comes to mind.

The period from the end of autumn to the beginning of winter, known The “rut” is the season when deer come into heat. Increased testosterone levels in bucks have led to multiple reports of deer attacking dogs in Colorado parks and wildlife in recent weeks. One such incident occurred in the backyard of a Castle Pines family home, and the entire attack was caught on video.

Tamer Pyster was distressed to see footage of her four-year-old Bernese mountain dog, Luke, being attacked not only by a deer but also by a large sum of money.

“I don't like it when the sound is on. It's just horrible,” Peister said.

The attack on Luke happened on November 30, when Mr Peister suddenly saw a large sum of money in his backyard. (Related: True Blue American Patriot's Kid Rock gets brutally beaten on hunting trip – look at the size of this buck!)

“As I was photographing the buck, Luke ran outside to go to the bathroom and into the backyard, and the buck immediately charged at him,” Peister said.

After the attack, the deer remained in the family's backyard for hours. The family, who was inside the house, noticed that their dog was bleeding and immediately took it to the veterinarian.

The poor puppy was lucky to survive. This could easily have been much worse.
