How can the Steelers clinch a playoff berth in Week 15?

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 10-3 and play some of the most complete football in the entire NFL. They could clinch a playoff spot in Week 15, but they face a pretty big test in the Philadelphia Eagles.

With the Steelers at 10-3 and the Ravens at 8-5, the Steelers won't be able to win the AFC North outright in Week 15. Both teams still have games left and enough division games left on the record. How to make it work mathematically. However, the Steelers will at least earn a wild card spot.

Steelers playoff advance scenario

If Pittsburgh wins and improves to 11-3, it would be at least 11-6, putting it out of reach of teams currently ranked eighth or lower.

Pittsburgh could also come back with a loss if both teams with seven losses drop to eight. Either of these scenarios would guarantee Pittsburgh would play postseason football.

The Jets then fell behind the Browns and Jaguars by conference record tiebreaker, and the Browns finished ahead of the Jaguars by head-to-head. Next up was the Jaguars and Jets, with Jacksonville winning the head-to-head tiebreaker. Then the Jets and Titans played, and New York defeated Tennessee. Now that the Titans beat the Patriots, the Titans are next.
