Assessing the Giants' 35-14 loss to the Ravens on Sunday at MetLife Stadium:
offense
The situation certainly hasn't improved.
He gained 14 points and 236 total yards, going 2 of 12 on third down, which is atrocious.
It was both fitting and ugly to see Tommy DeVito's QB sneak come to a halt.
DeVito went 10-of-13 for 68 yards and two sacks before leaving with a concussion.
At least Tim Boyle (12 of 24, 123 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) got the ball up there.
Malik Nabors (10-82, 1 TD) competed with cornerback Brandon Stevens and committed two pass interference penalties.
He completed a 23-yard touchdown pass from Boyle midway through the fourth quarter.
A 20-yard reception in the third quarter was nullified due to an illegal shift penalty on Nabors.
He's a competitor.
No run game (55 rushing yards) with Tyrone Tracy (10-31) or Devin Singletary (8-25, 1 TD).
All things considered, the line wasn't terrible (three sacks allowed).
The average gain of 3.9 yards per play shows the offense lacks dynamism.

defense
Oybey.
What a disaster.
The Ravens gained 445 yards and went 9 of 11 on third down.
Lamar Jackson (21 of 25, 290 yards) threw five touchdown passes (two to Rashod Bateman) and rarely had it this easy.
He ran it six times for 65 yards.
CB Adoree Jackson forced and recovered a Jackson fumble on the first series.
LB Micah McFadden showed strong pursuit with a first down sack, helped by a flash from Brian Burns.
Barnes then added a sack of his own for a 10-yard loss.
Isaiah Simmons stumbled in coverage and tight end Mark Andrews ran for a 13-yard TD.
Bateman's double move completely lost S Jason Pinnock for a painfully wide-open 49-yard TD.
Bateman then added a 20-yard TD, easily past Dane Belton.
This group wasn't beaten by Derrick Henry (14-67), but the young, inexperienced, injury-depleted secondary was amateurish in terms of crushed coverage.

special teams
The first play was a 59-yard kickoff return to Justice Hill.
Jamie Gillan's first punt went 51 yards with no return.
The second punt wasn't much better, going low for 37 yards, but Desmond King returned it 23 yards.
A held Matthew Adams penalty ruined a great kick-off return by Ymir Smith-Marsette.
Graham Gano's kickoff landed in the landing zone and rolled out of the end zone, forcing the Ravens to start the series at their own 20-yard line.
New TE Greg Dulcich joined the club with an illegal block above the waist on a kickoff return.

coaching
Watching Brian Daboll blow a gasket after a failed quarterback sneak shows how frustrating this is for the head coach and offensive play caller.
There is no answer on the offensive end, and Daboll has not been able to stop losing.
That's a bad combination.
Shane Bowen's defense held up against Alvin Kamara and Henry for weeks in a row, but the back end was exploited so many times that Jackson easily defeated it.
