Jamie Foxx on Friday thanked fans for their support and blamed the devil after his altercation in Beverly Hills.

Two days after the 57-year-old was injured while celebrating his birthday with friends at celebrity-favorite restaurant Mr. Chow, Fox wrote on Instagram: “The devil is busy…but blessed enough to be stressed.” I wrote.

The Academy Award-winning actor said someone threw a glass from another table and it hit Foxx in the mouth, requiring medical attention and stitches.

“The devil lies,” Fox captioned a post shared to Instagram on Sunday morning.

Beverly Hills Police Department officials responded to an assault with a deadly weapon at a popular eatery on Camden Drive just after 10 p.m. Friday, according to a release obtained by Fox News Digital.

After investigating, officers determined that the assault with a deadly weapon was “unfounded,” but the incident did involve a “physical altercation between the parties.” No arrests have been made and police indicated an investigation is ongoing.

The “Collateral” star revealed further insight into the mysterious medical emergency he experienced in April 2023 in his latest Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was.”

“I was fighting for my life,” Fox said of the experience when doctors told her she had suffered a hemorrhage on the brain, causing a stroke. “On April 11th, I had a bad headache so I asked my son for aspirin…before I could get any aspirin…I left. I don't remember anything about those 20 days.”

At the time of the health crisis, Fox was in Atlanta working on the Netflix film “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz. He was treated at a Georgia-area hospital and returned to set in January 2024.

“I was dizzy from the stroke…I don't remember anything for 20 days,” Fox said. “On May 4th, I woke up. I woke up and I was sitting in a wheelchair. I couldn't walk.”
