Bryson DeChambeau’s oversized coat at The Showdown makes him look like a sideline NFL QB

Is Bryson DeChambeau playing at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas? Or maybe he's staying warm while watching a game in New York's Orchard Park in January?

His oversized trench coat makes it difficult to decipher.

DeChambeau, the reigning U.S. Open champion, is playing alongside Brooks Koepka at the Crypto.com Showdown. The Showdown is a made-for-TV event that pits two of LIV Golf's stars against two of the best on the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy. The match received a lot of hype and fanfare, especially since PGA Tour and LIV golfers don't often play together outside of the four majors.

However, the competition itself DeChambeau's coat backseat.

See for yourself:

Keep in mind that temperatures in Las Vegas Tuesday night are hovering in the mid-60s. It's not warm per se, but it's not overly cold either. In any case, it's not always cold enough to wear a ski jacket.

Despite this, DeChambeau continued to wear a new Reebok jacket for each shot, trying to stay warm and relaxed. But through four holes, it didn't pay off. Scheffler and McIlroy won three of the first four holes and won the first half. DeChambeau even missed a 3-footer for Eagle, which reminded everyone of what happened to McIlroy at No. 2 Pinehurst.

Still, DeChambeau's coat has become a hot topic on social media for fans and media alike. Signfield References or have posted Photo of NFL quarterbacks tied together.
