Steph Curry has worst game of his career in ugly Warriors blowout

Chef Curry may need to find a new recipe after the Warriors star cooked a rotten egg during his performance against the Grizzlies on Thursday night.

Stephen Curry scored just two points in 24 minutes on the court, resulting in a 144-93 loss to Memphis.

Curry's ugly shooting resulted in him missing all seven of his shots from the field and scoring just two points from the free throw line.

It was the first time in his career that Curry played more than 12 minutes without making a field goal, and it was his lowest-scoring game in which he played more than 24 minutes.

The last time Curry scored two or fewer points was on March 8, 2018, against the Spurs.

He played just over two minutes in that game.

Curry averaged 20 points and shot 45.2 percent from the field on the night.

A tough night for Curry was made even worse by the fact that the Warriors lost by more than 50 points, making the loss to the Grizzlies the fourth-worst loss in franchise history.

This brutal loss came after Golden State lost to the Celtics by 52 points last season.

Curry told reporters after the game that “the atmosphere is much better” than after previous losses like this one.

“I don't like the word 'panic,'” Curry said of the Warriors' current situation. “I like accepting where I am and trying to change the momentum of the season. Panic means there are no answers. I think there are answers. There's definitely a sense of urgency. ”

Golden State has now lost three straight games and nine of its last 11 games overall.

The Warriors are in 10th place in the Western Conference with 14 wins and 12 losses on the season.
