Walmart, Canada, and the great DEI retreat: Are we finally waking up?

Is freedom moving backwards or moving forward? Just a few weeks ago, I would have said it was regressing. But something is changing, and America, though bruised and battered, is at the forefront of the pullback.

What did we do over the last four years when everything went wrong for us, when we felt like freedom was on the brink? We rode in waves like a group of liberal women in New York City. I didn't scream at him. We didn't post videos of ourselves yelling and rambling on Instagram. we went to work. We went to God. And we remembered who we are.

they are losing. I'm starting to lose my resistance. Common sense is creeping in again.

Bible sales in the United States are up 21% from last year. In times of uncertainty, we have always returned to our faith and the principles that give us balance and resolve. For leftists, their “gods” are government, DEI initiatives, and utopian ideals. But when the false gods fail, as always, they are left with nothing but despair.

Rebellion against oppression

But something amazing is happening. Freedom is being pushed back. Not just here, but all over the world.

Take Canada, for example, a country that seemed hopelessly defeated by stifling control over DEI and government overreach. Just last year, one in 20 deaths in Canada was due to assisted suicide. A government that once promised freedom, opportunity, and optimism is now promoting death.

Remember when Canadian authorities froze the bank accounts of citizens supporting the trucker protests? The government turned against its own people and trust was shattered.

But now even in Canada, people are saying: That's enough. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, once untouchable, is on the brink. His allies are deserting him. He is losing control. The tide is turning.

America takes the lead

In America, we are at the dangerous point of losing our understanding of freedom. We have blurred the line between equality and fairness. Equality means judging people by their character, strengths, and skills. Equity requires us to look instead at race, history, and grievances.

Walmart was once a proud leader in DEI initiatives, but is now quietly rolling back those initiatives. why? Not out of fear of Trump, as some have claimed, but because the people spoke out. Americans are remembering what fairness and opportunity look like. Businesses recognize that serving customers, not political agendas, should be their priority.

The media, once a powerful weapon for progressive policy, is losing its grip. They keep screaming and shaking like the armless and legless knights in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but the battle is over. They just don't know it yet.

Now the hard work begins

The 2024 election was certainly a victory, but it was also a reprieve. God, in His mercy, has given us time. It has given me time to regain the freedom I have been losing over the past four years. The question is what to do with this second chance.

Need to organize. Must vote. We need to hold our leaders accountable, not just for their voices, but for their actions, their wallets, and their resolve. The left's relentless pursuit of eroding freedom continues unabated. They don't give up easily.

But they are losing. I'm starting to lose my resistance. Restaurants that once publicly vowed to refuse service to Trump administration officials are now firing employees who do the same. Common sense is creeping in again.

we are at a crossroads. Freedom is not automatically guaranteed. We must fight for it, protect it, and cherish it. A wise man said: “Always give the American people the benefit of the doubt. They may make mistakes, but ultimately they will figure it out and get it right.” That's correct. we understand that. Slowly, painfully, but surely.

It's time to choose. Will you seize this moment or let it pass?
