Texans’ Tank Dell suffers gruesome leg injury, leaving teammates in tears

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell suffered a serious foot injury while scoring a second-half touchdown during Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs and left the field in an ambulance.

The heartbreaking scene occurred just over three minutes into the second half, when quarterback CJ Stroud connected with Dell in the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown pass.

Immediately after making the catch, the second-year receiver remained on the ground in obvious pain. It looks like he has a serious knee injury.

With Stroud clearly shaken by Dell's injury, Texans players gathered around him to pray for his soul.

He was eventually taken from the field by an ambulance-like vehicle.
