Texans’ Tank Dell suffers gruesome knee injury on touchdown pass
Tank Dell appears to have seriously injured his left knee and was dragged off the field after catching a touchdown pass in Saturday's game against the Chiefs.
Dell caught a 30-yard pass from quarterback CJ Stroud in the back of the end zone, just before colliding with teammate Jared Wayne and Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie.

Texans WR Tank Dell will be taken to the locker room with a knee injury after scoring on this play.
After hitting the ground, Del immediately pointed to his knee and began waving to the team trainers.
Stroud and his other Texans teammates were visibly shaken, and at one point, Stroud's eyes were filled with tears.
Del's leg was placed in a vacuum splint and he was taken to an area hospital. Pro Football Talk reported.

This is the second season in a row that Dell has been seriously injured.
In 2023, during his rookie season in the NFL, Dell suffered a fractured fibula.
Before leaving Saturday's game, Dell had six catches for 98 yards and a touchdown catch.
