The first shooting of the weekend occurred just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 1700 block of East 67th Street, where a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times and was taken to a hospital where he died. .
A few hours later, at 4:32 a.m., a man was shot in the abdomen in the 8400 block of Kingston Avenue. He was also taken to the hospital, where he died.
At 9:15 a.m. Sunday morning, a 48-year-old man was fatally shot in an alley in the 8000 block of South Escanaba Street. He was later pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
