Bill Clinton discharged after hospitalization for flu

Former President Clinton was hospitalized with the flu the day before, but was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday morning, according to his press secretary.

Mr. Clinton was admitted to a Washington hospital on Monday with a fever.

The former Democratic president was active during the 2024 presidential campaign, supporting Vice President Harris against President-elect Trump. A few months earlier, he spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

The former president was hospitalized for five days in 2021 with sepsis caused by an infection.
