In an interview with Fox Business Network on Tuesday, incoming border czar Tom Homan said that the illegal immigrant accused of setting a woman on fire and killing her on a New York City subway was receiving government benefits, but that the victim said some homeless people received government benefits. New York isn't like that.
Mr Homan said:[Y]If you think about it, this illegal alien who burned this young woman alive probably had a free hotel room, three times a day…free medical care…but this young… homeless person, she [doesn’t] She died a tragic death, even though she had nothing. ”
he continued. “So I want Hochul, I want the mayor of Chicago, I want the governor, I want all the sanctuary cities that are against President Trump and me running deportation operations, watch that video, watch this I want you to know how young people act. Women suffered…listen to the Laken Riley tapes. Please… how she fought for her life, that young woman didn't want to die. I want you to understand how these people died and that you still have sanctuary. Let them know you support the city and don't want to help remove public safety threats from their communities.”
