A Florida pizza delivery driver is facing charges after police say he assaulted a pregnant woman over a tip.

Brianna Alvero, 22, of Kissimmee, was arrested in connection with Monday's attack and is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, burglary and aggravated assault, according to a press release from the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

The victim was in a motel room celebrating a birthday with her boyfriend and 5-year-old daughter at a nearby Marco's Pizza when the stabbing happened just after 11:45 p.m., according to the report. It was after ordering food.

When the pizza was delivered, the victim attempted to pay for the $33.10 order with a $50 bill and demanded change, according to the report.

Albero then told the victim that he would not give her change, asked her for a refund, and asked her to look for small bills.

The victim eventually paid for the order and gave Albero a $2 tip, but the victim told investigators that Albero “rolled his eyes and didn't say anything.” “He left,” he reportedly said.

Officials said Albero was armed with a knife and began attacking one of the victims. Investigators said the victim had been stabbed multiple times and that Alvero stopped stabbing him when the male suspect yelled, “It's time to go.” He added that he believed he was trying to kill him.

Investigators say the victim was stabbed 14 times, had a punctured lung and underwent surgery, where she was discovered to be several weeks pregnant.

Officials said the victim was taken to a hospital and is currently in stable condition.
