Eagles’ Nick Sirianni clears the air after heated postgame confrontation with former player Zach Ertz

However, league sources say told ESPN Sirianni said he later called Ertz and apologized.

Asked by reporters about their interaction on Thursday, the head coach declined to discuss specifics, but said the two were in good condition.

“I keep my conversations with men private,” he said. “I have a lot of respect for Zach. He's a great football player and a great person to be around. I really respect Zach and all the good things he's done and my relationship with him. ”

Ertz, who appeared in six games under Sirianni before being traded to Arizona in 2021, echoed similar sentiments when speaking to the media about the incident.

“Nick and I had a great relationship when I was there, and we still have a great relationship. It's definitely been blown out of proportion,” he said Thursday. Ta.
