Category overview
- Major: Contains personal messages and time-sensitive information.
- transaction: Track confirmations, receipts, and shipping notifications.
- update: Contains news, newsletters, and social media updates.
- Promotion: Display coupons and sale emails.

Use the new email classification feature
Now that you're all set up for iOS 18.2 or later, let's take a look at how to use the new email classification feature.
- Open. email app On your iPhone.
- Four new categories will appear at the top. major, transaction, update and Promotion.
- Tap any category Click to see emails categorized specifically for that section.
- If you want to see all your emails at once, swipe from right to left at the top. “All Mail” option.
