Robberies involving athletes continue, and the day before Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic's home was broken into, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott's fiancée was robbed from his car. Something was stolen.
WFAA, based in Dallas A Dallas Police Department report says Sara Ramos had nearly $40,000 worth of items stolen from her car.
The incident happened last Thursday, and she admitted she forgot to lock her car door as she “rushed into the car” for a Pilates class due to bad weather.

Items stolen the day after Christmas included designer wallets and handbags from Chanel, YSL, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada, according to WFAA. Computer software and cash were also stolen.
Recent robberies have involved athletes, including Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, whose homes were burglarized last month.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had the same experience, according to WFAA, and Doncic also had his home broken into in the back master bedroom on Friday. A necklace valued at $4,000, earrings valued at $14,000, and four rings valued at $5,000 were reported stolen.
In the NFL's case, it issued a league-wide memo warning of robberies believed to be connected to “organized” groups.
In a memo obtained by The Associated Press, the league issued a red flag to teams and the NFL Players Association, warning that professional athletes in a variety of sports are “increasingly being targeted for robbery by organized and skilled groups. ' he warned.

At the time the memo was written, NFL Network reported that the FBI was investigating the crime spree, believing it was “connected to a South American criminal organization.”
Law enforcement officials said the suspects conducted extensive surveillance of their targets' homes, sometimes posing as groundskeepers or joggers. Some people have tried home delivery.
The memo urges players to take extra precautions, including installing home security systems. They were also encouraged not to post updates on their comings and goings on social media or to feature expensive items online.
Prescott and Ramos' engagement was revealed in October, a month before he suffered a season-ending hamstring injury against the Atlanta Falcons.
