In Sajak's final episode recorded in April, Sajak delivered the following message: emotional farewell speech.
“It's time to say goodbye,” he said. “Before I leave, I would like to take a few moments to say thank you and acknowledge you. I want to start with all of you who are out there watching. It is an incredible honor to be invited into your home.”
“I've always felt that with this privilege comes a responsibility to keep those 30 hours of each day a safe place for family fun,” Sajak continued. “I hope it’s just a game, no social issues, no politics, no embarrassing things.”

“But gradually it has become more than that,” he added. “It’s a place where children learn to write, where foreigners hone their English skills, where families, friends, neighbors and entire generations gather.”
