A Lego display at a crowded Massachusetts arcade collapsed Tuesday afternoon when an employee caused a New Year's balloon to fall, injuring 10 people and sending eight of them to the hospital.
The shocking accident, caught on camera during the “Happy Noon Years” event at In the Game on Lowell Street in Peabody, Massachusetts, stunned the revelers.

But as soon as the barrage fell, Lego pieces assembled and displayed to look like an old-school arcade game fell directly onto the audience dozens of feet below.
10 people were injured According to Peabody Police. Eight of the injured were sent to hospital, but two refused medical evacuation. It is unclear whether any of the victims were children.
“I didn't know anyone was hurt until after,” 13-year-old Keegan Oblens told NBC Boston.
He added that it took about a minute for the audience to realize what had happened, and that the disruption caused by the noise of the packed event actually caused harm to people.
“Then I got a little worried and everyone started cleaning up and the ambulance came,” he said. “And a fire engine. And out came the stretcher.”
Crews left the scene by 12:45 p.m.
