If there's one classic roller coaster cliché to describe the Rangers' past year, it's American phenom Kinda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure.
The world's tallest and fastest roller coaster. Equipped with a hydraulic launch mechanism, the train accelerated to 198 mph in 3.5 seconds, reached the summit at an altitude of 456 feet, and then swooped down at a 90-degree angle, completing the ride in 28 seconds. .
Kingda Ka closed in November. It was around the time the Blueshirts descended a 90-degree incline.
The ride was discontinued due to mechanical failure, safety concerns, and maintenance costs. As well as defensive and organizational breakdowns, personnel and management issues and a poor locker room are also affecting the Rangers.
