The heinous terrorist attack in New Orleans early on New Year's Day highlighted the Biden administration's stunning failure to keep America safe and stop radical Islamic terrorism. Team Biden by diverting focus from this persistent threat to America's national security and instead wasting time and resources attacking political opponents, parents attending school board meetings, and Catholics. left America vulnerable. It is up to the incoming Trump administration to resolve this mess and keep Americans safe.
When our Trump administration took office in January 2017, the Islamic State (ISIS) controlled vast swaths of Syria and was expanding its radical Islamist vision globally. Two Americans were beheaded during the Obama-Biden administration.
It took a serious president to actually dismantle that caliphate with partners and allies and quell the threat of Islamic extremist terrorism at home and abroad. By the end of our term, we had accomplished just that. The ISIS caliphate no longer exists and the threat of Islamic extremist terrorism within our borders has been greatly reduced.
ISIS has caused six terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.
Over the past four years, we have witnessed a complete abdication of this responsibility in the White House, resulting in a dangerous resurgence of this threat. Instead of combating Islamic extremist terrorism at home and abroad, Biden downplayed this threat in favor of political threats, allowing the real threat to metastasize and culminate in the New Orleans attack.

His administration has allowed Afghanistan to fall into the hands of the Taliban, allowed Iran and its proxies to flourish and carry out the October 7 massacre, and failed to address the growing threat of Islamic extremist terrorism here at home. There wasn't. This empowered the enemy and weakened America.
Worse, this administration has allowed political ideology to undermine America's core national security imperatives. For four years, we have seen demonstrators raising Hamas and ISIS flags in the streets and on universities, even as the current administration calls “far-right” groups and even President-elect Donald Trump's supporters the greatest threat to American democracy. I've seen people barely move their fingers even when shaken. campus after the horrific Oct. 7 attack.
For four years, our wide open borders have allowed extremists affiliated with groups like ISIS to freely enter our country, strengthening their ability to plan and carry out attacks and reducing radicalization. Efforts have been strengthened. By treating counter-terrorism as another political weapon or tool to advance a woke ideology, Team Biden has left a gap in the national security apparatus that forces like ISIS are eager to exploit. .
Unfortunately, in the wake of the New Orleans attack, we're seeing even more unscrupulous behavior. The FBI first said the suspect did not act alone, but now it has reversed course and says he acted alone. To be clear, the idea that this person acted alone is absurd on its face. Perhaps he carried out this particular attack alone, but these deplorable acts never occur in isolation.
The very concept of a “lone wolf” is a fiction. Whether an accomplice was assisting him on the night of the attack, or even in planning the attack, this terrorist is part of a radicalized Islamist cabal to attack America, and he is unstoppable. Ta.

For the FBI to now claim that he acted alone shows either the continuing influence of twisted political agendas or a complete misunderstanding of the depth and complexity of ISIS operations within the United States. There is. Every step must be taken to determine where and how this person was radicalized so that the next attack can be predicted or prevented.
Correcting these gaps in national security is urgent and must be a priority for the incoming Trump administration. In response to the growing threat of terrorism, the challenge for Americans is not to fundamentally change the way they live their lives. This will be a victory for the Islamists.

Rather, it is important that responsible agencies, such as the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and state and local law enforcement agencies, recognize the risks posed by Islamic extremist terrorism and take appropriate steps to reduce and eliminate them. It is a mission.

In May of this year, the FBI tweeted that diversity is a top priority for the agency. The safety and security of all Americans should be our top priority. Fortunately, there could be no better leader to enter the White House to fix the mess President Joe Biden has created. Having served as President Trump's CIA Director and Secretary of State, I am confident that, just as President Trump did during his first term, we will do everything possible to eliminate this threat to Americans within our borders and around the world. I know what to do.
Most importantly, he will shift the focus of our law enforcement and national security apparatus away from domestic political opponents, DEI, and Wokeness, and toward crushing despicable individuals who seek to harm innocent Americans. It's about shifting your focus.
