‘Home Improvement’ Star Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested Again for Domestic Violence

Zachary Ty Bryan, the actor who played the eldest son in the long-running 1990s comedy home renovationwas charged Friday with second-degree domestic violence in South Carolina.

Brian was previously arrested in 2020, pleading guilty to charges that he got into an argument with his girlfriend, Johnny Faye Cartwright, and tried to strangle her in their Eugene, Oregon, apartment.

He downplayed the domestic violence charge when he pleaded guilty in 2021 and claimed in a subsequent interview that the incident had been “unfairly exaggerated.”
