“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin recently compared the events of Jan. 6.th Demonstrations against the Holocaust, slavery, and World War II.

President-elect Donald Trump's Election Day victory was recognized on the anniversary of January 6th.that the 2021 demonstration, Hostin said Americans should simply not move on as, according to her, “it was one of the worst moments in American history.”
“And when we think about the worst moments in American history, such as events like World War II, the Holocaust, and chattel slavery, we must never forget that if we forget or erase, Because it becomes a prologue,” Hostin continued.
Hostin went on to discuss Mitch McConnell's (R-Ky.) initial reaction to the protests, which strangely claimed that Trump was “morally responsible” for the incident.
“I think we need to find some moral clarity in this country. I just remember what happened after January 6th.”th People like Mitch McConnell put the blame on January 6th.th That's exactly where it should be, on the shoulders of Donald Trump. And then you start to see people withdraw from that and start to lose their moral center,” Hostin said.
She continued to call on January 6th.th I disagree with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who previously said it was an “atrocity” and that we need to “move on” as a country.
“I think Condoleezza Rice said on this show, 'You know we need to move on from January 6th.'th. ”I say no. I can't move forward because it's January 6th.th It was an act of cruelty. It was one of the worst moments in American history,” Hostin added.
Meanwhile, the show's other co-host, Alyssa Farrar Griffin, criticized the way Democrats approached the election, saying: Democracy. ”
Griffin went on to criticize President Joe Biden for remaining in the race despite concerns about his age and mental decline.
“I think there were warning signs and I say this with all due respect to Joe Biden. I didn't agree with the words he said in that. [Washington Post] The editorial said people were concerned about your age. He waited until August and then gave Kamala Harris this runway to run for president. All the warning signs were there,” Griffin continued.
“This was the Democratic Party. They had a chance to stop Donald Trump from taking office, and here we are, hoping that the shenanigans on January 6th are over.”th It ends. It wasn't right, and it never will be, no matter how much people lie. In my book this was avoidable,” she added.
Meanwhile, President Trump promised a pardon. January 6thth Participants after he returned to the office.
“Day one, I'm looking for day one. These guys have been there, but how long? Three or four years,” President Trump said. “They've been there for years. And they're in a filthy, disgusting place and shouldn't even be allowed to open.”
