Fatal shooting unfolds near Honduran Consulate in Atlanta

One person was killed and another injured when a suspect opened fire in the parking lot of the Honduran consulate near Atlanta on Monday afternoon, police said.

The Doraville, Georgia, Police Department said FOX News Digital personnel responded to the consulate for a report of a shooting around 2:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found one person dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Officers also found a second injured person, who was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
