Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs envies attention Luigi Mangione receives behind bars

Sean “Diddy” Combs says fellow inmate Luigi Mangione is “throwing a tantrum” over the attention taken away from him inside a notorious New York City lockup. So the CEO killer suspect could end up on the disgraced rapper's “ST list,” sources say. he told The Post on Tuesday.

When Combs was arrested on sex trafficking charges on September 16, he was the most high-profile inmate at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC).

But his reign was short-lived.

Mangione, 26, was placed in the same facility as music mogul Mangione, 55, after he was arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in early December.

Since arriving at MDC, Mangione, who has been in protective custody, has become a sensation among the other inmates. Daily Mail reported.

Mangione has reportedly received a hero's welcome privately, and other inmates have also shared their concerns about health insurance.

But the attention apparently irritates Combs, who is housed among the general population of star-struck inmates.

“Diddy is losing his temper over the fact that Luigi, who literally murdered people on camera, is getting attention in prison and being worshiped as a hero,” a source told the magazine.

“Diddy's ego is bigger than life, even in prison,” they added.

Combs' reaction comes as no surprise to former members of his inner circle who were recently cut off financially.

“He always wants to be the center of everything,” a former official complained to the Post.

“When he feels someone is getting his attention, he doesn't take it well. He gets furious, and if he has that kind of power, he doesn't take it well. make it miserable.”

But for the first time in decades, Combs has little power to do anything about threats to his popularity. He has been locked up in prison for decades.

Federal agents raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami in March and seized hundreds of sex videos and mountains of sex paraphernalia, including 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube. in a statementThe U.S. Attorney's Office argued that the sex parties he hosted, called “freak-offs,” were not necessarily consensual.

Authorities charged Combs with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

Mangione, on the other hand, faces a possible life sentence on 11 charges, including first-degree murder and promoting terrorism. Authorities say the shooting occurred days after Thompson wrote a manifesto to his insurance company.

Combs and Mangione share the same legal team but have never spoken to each other.

Both men will remain at MDC for the time being, but friends doubt that Combs' one-sided rivalry will be permanent.

“He will [Mangione] It’s on his list of favorites,” says a Diddy source.

“He has to be the biggest star wherever he goes. That's all that matters to him.”
