A wildfire has broken out in California's Hollywood Hills area, west of the iconic Hollywood sign, as multiple wildfires that first broke out in the Pacific Palisades area on Tuesday continue.
Bill Melgin of FOX News reported A Fox 11 Los Angeles helicopter reportedly “went over” what appeared to be “a newly burning wildfire in the hills west of the Hollywood sign.”
“It looks like there was an explosion a while ago,” Melgin added.
A wildfire in the Hollywood Hills has led to mandatory evacuations for the area. According to Go to KTLA5 News.
According to the newspaper, Los Angeles Fire Department officials estimate that the fire has “charred at least 20 acres in the Runyon Canyon area.”

The Scout Fire, Olivia Fire, and Sunset Fire are also reported to have zero containment.
