Fans trade punches in wild brawl at Knicks-Raptors game

A short video posted on social media shows two unruly fans fighting in the stands at Madison Square Garden during Wednesday's Knicks-Raptors game.

Fifteen seconds of footage recorded early in the Knicks' 112-98 win over the Raptors showed two men standing somewhere in the 100s behind the basket.

The video shows two men grappling with each other, with one man standing in a row behind the other.

One of the men was wearing a tan jacket and jeans, and the other was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and dark-colored jeans.

A few seconds later, the man in the long-sleeved shirt started throwing hay, and one punch appeared to hit the other brawler near the side of his neck.

The person in the tan jacket responded with a punch of his own before the person filming the video panned out to show the court and the MSG scoreboard before returning to filming the game.

By the time the cameras returned to the incident, cooler heads seemed to prevail and the man in the black shirt was being restrained by another person.

The video stopped before security personnel arrived at the section.

“I was right behind the fight! It's crazy that two people found their opponent about three minutes into the fight.” the person wrote The person who recorded the video and posted it to X.

The two were then seen being escorted from their seats.

In a statement to the Post, a spokesperson for MSG Sports said: “We are aware of the incident and will not go into details, but following the altercation, the assailant was immediately removed from the venue.” . “Providing a safe environment for our guests is our top priority and as stated in our Code of Conduct, we do not tolerate violence of any kind within our venues.”

Both fans remembered how the Knicks snapped a three-game losing streak thanks to 27 points from OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns.
