Authorities in Texas discovered a suspected MS-13 gang member wanted for murder in El Salvador after they pulled him over in a car with defective brakes.
Luis Manuel Hernandez Bonilla was arrested by Lakeway Police Department officers on Tuesday while on routine patrol, according to a statement from the department.

According to the statement, they saw Bonilla driving with “defective brake lights” and during the stop they learned that he was a member of the MS-13 gang, who is wanted by Salvadoran authorities on suspicion of murder. He said he noticed something.
LPD said Bonilla was taken into custody without incident.
He was then turned over to federal immigration authorities and transported to the Boone County Jail in Burlington, Kentucky, according to ICE records.
