‘Very Significant Logistical Undertaking’ to Deport One Million People

Ken Cuccinelli, a former acting deputy secretary of Homeland Security, said during an appearance on the show that deporting 1 million people is a “very important logistical undertaking.” Breitbart News Daily.

“Well, I would say that the current law is to detain all illegal aliens, and that's on the books. But at the same time, at the moment, ICE can hold, let's say, less than 30,000 people. ” Cuccinelli explained.

“So the Biden administration has brought over 10 million people into the country illegally, and we don't have the capacity to detain them all. Now, the Laken Riley Act states that they intend to expand that ability. And as you know, Tom Homan of National Security. I've heard people consistently talk about prioritizing security threats, not just threats, but neighborhood security threats. That's criminals and people who are already under deportation orders. “It means people,” he said, adding that these two numbers add up to just under 2 million people.

Cuccinelli added further perspective, explaining how logistically it would cost to deport so many people.

“So that in itself is a significant number. To evict one million people a year, you would need to send about 50 jumbo jets full of deportees every day, 365 days a year.” He made this clear. “This is a very important logistical job that requires coordinating all the things that need to be coordinated, including bringing these people in, capturing them, identifying them… but , you actually have to get permission to land on the other side with them in their home country,” he said.

Ken Cuccinelli believes that if the deal isn't “nearly immediate,” the U.S. should “send these people back on military planes, land them a little forcefully, get everyone out, and then fly out.” He said there was.

“And interestingly, I think we're going to start getting cooperation right away, but that's going to be a slowdown for that whole operation. Like I said, this is going to be a massive logistical effort.” he added, noting that the entire operation, even on a large scale, was “doable.”

“I mean, very little attention has been paid to how big a job this is. If we come close to achieving the president's goal (which, as you know, about 10 million people), this will be the largest domestic undertaking by our government. Probably.'' “So I said what it would take to deport a million people.”

But many are expected to simply leave voluntarily as they begin to terminate work permits and tighten workplace enforcement, he said.
