Tom Brady, Josef Newgarden star in creative new ad promoting IndyCar on FOX Sports

The 2025 IndyCar season is just around the corner.

The campaign unofficially kicks off this week with IndyCar Content Days in Indianapolis featuring teams and drivers. The season begins in earnest on March 2 at the Firestone Grand Prix in St. Petersburg, but one of the biggest changes coming to IndyCar is a new broadcast hub. FOX Sports has secured the rights to IndyCar for next season, and the network has begun running a major marketing campaign during its NFL playoff coverage.

The campaign includes Tom Brady, the newest member of the NFL broadcast team.

The campaign kicked off on Sunday of Wild Card Weekend with this ad featuring the past two Indianapolis 500 winner Joseph Newgarden.

The commercial aired hours before Brady called FOX Sports for his first NFL playoff game, Sunday's game between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is the first of several commercials that FOX will air during the NFL playoffs. Future spots include drivers Alex Palou and Pato O'Ward.

When the broadcasting contract was announcedthe expansion of IndyCar Series coverage on FOX was highlighted as a major boost for the sport.
