An off-duty city firefighter who boasted that it took seven officers to arrest him during a street party in 2011 was arrested again Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, police said.
Jean Negron Davila, 36, was taken into custody on Staten Island around 4:18 a.m. after refusing a breathalyzer test, officials said.
Negron-Davila, a registered firefighter with Engine 279 in Brooklyn, was charged with DUI for driving while impaired and refusing to use a breathalyzer.
Negron Davila fire officials could not be reached for comment.
The firefighter was arrested on Staten Island in 2011 during a raucous weekend street party in Graniteville, where he taunted officers who tried to clear the block, police said. That's what it means.
“Officers, go fuck yourself and leave me alone!” Negron-Davila yelled at the officers, police said.
He then lunged at police and punched a lieutenant in the face, according to court documents from the time.

“You're in a losing battle,” Negron-Davila allegedly boasted after being handcuffed by officers.
