Sidney Thomas said he had celebrities and SEC football coaches slide into his DMs after he made headlines for being the ring girl for the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight in late 2024.
During a recent appearance “Like a farmer’s podcast.” The 21-year-old model and University of Alabama student, who became an overnight sensation after the Nov. 15 Paul vs. Tyson scandal, shared a message from his coach and revealed that he is a fan of the University of Alabama.
Asked about the “craziest DM I've ever received” since the Tyson vs. Paul fight, Thomas replied, “It was from a coach on another SEC football team who sent me a DM that said 'Roll Tide.' ” he said.
“I won't say which coach it was, but at least now they're Alabama fans. I'll let other people figure out for themselves who it was.”
Thomas did not provide further details.
She also declined to identify the celebrities who contacted her.
“I'm not going to reveal it,” Thomas said with a laugh. “…We don’t need negative publicity right now.”
Thomas added that his dream match to work as a ring girl would be Conor McGregor vs. Paul or his brother Logan Paul.
The St. Louis, Missouri, native is currently enrolled in online classes in Alabama so she can travel.
Thomas previously made headlines for being the ring girl for Paul's unanimous decision victory over Tyson at Arlington's AT&T Stadium and celebrated reaching 1 million followers on TikTok.
This will be the second time Thomas has served as a ring girl, having made her debut with Paul's Most Valuable Promotions at an event in Puerto Rico in October 2024.
Thomas previously said she was discovered by Paul's company through social media.
