President Biden has done less to improve national defense, immigration and the federal debt than any of his three predecessors in the White House, according to a new survey of U.S. voters.

However, when it comes to defense and military, Biden's net negative rating was -19%, lower than Trump (+25%), Obama (-9%), and Bush (+3%).

Biden scored -56% on how he handled the federal debt, worse than Obama's -36% and Trump's -45%. The survey conducted after Bush took office did not ask about the federal debt.
The only area in which the outgoing president received a net positive rating was on “the situation of gays, lesbians, and transgender people'' at 16%, far lower than President Obama's 52% positive rating. Meanwhile, President Trump received a 4% positive rating for his progress toward LGBT Americans.
In terms of America's standing in the world and the economy, Biden (-32%) is ahead of Bush (-57%), the latter of whom left office during the 2008 financial crisis.
Although the 46th president's crime rating was barely higher than President Obama's, the 44th president's net negative rating was -35% compared to Biden's -32%.
President Trump's crime rating was -13%, the highest of the past four presidents.
Mr. Biden, who has spent 48 of the past 52 years in public office, will leave the White House on January 20, when Mr. Trump, 78, will be sworn in as president.
The survey comes after another Gallup poll found that more than half of Americans believe Biden will go down in history as a “poor” to “below average” commander-in-chief. It took place a week later.
