New York Judge Juan Marchand has decided to sentence Donald Trump to “unconditional release.” This means he will not be sentenced to prison or pay a fine.
“This is a very terrible experience,” President Trump said after receiving the verdict. “I think this was a huge setback for New York and the New York court system.”
“This is a political witch hunt. It was done to tarnish my reputation and make sure I lost the election. And obviously, it didn't work. And it hurt our country. People watched this case in your courtroom, so they got to see this firsthand, they saw this firsthand, they voted, and I won.”
“They were watching your trial and understood that I was under a gag order that prevented me from speaking about very important aspects of the case,” he continued. “The fact is, I'm completely innocent. I did nothing wrong. They talked about business records, and business records were counted very accurately.”
“This is the weaponization of government. They call it a legal act. Nothing like this has ever happened, but it has never happened before in our country,” he added. Ta.
