Apple users are sounding the alarm about a glitch that's causing them to be late for work.
According to various iPhone enthusiasts, their morning alarms are no longer going off, nearly nine months after Apple acknowledged the problem and claimed it was working on a fix.
According to the company, this issue has been occurring for some users since at least April last year. Reported to date.
Some Redditors say the issue is still affecting them intermittently.

The post included a photo of an iPhone with an alarm set for 10:30 a.m. going off at 12:42, displayed on the Apple Watch.
Participants in the comments shared that they were having similar issues with alarms.
“This has been happening to me for years and I thought I was going crazy. I set my alarm and two hours later I woke up and looked at the clock and it was silent, no sound, no touch. The alarm was going off,” one person said.
“I was going crazy trying to explain this to my boss so he wouldn't think I was lying,” said one person.

“It was showing as if my morning alarm had gone off, but there was no sound or touch for 40 minutes,” wrote another furious Redditor.
“There were many days when I was late because my alarm went off on silent mode. When I looked at my phone, the alarm screen was showing, but the phone was silent,” another source commented.
Users in this thread include those using various iOS updates, including iOS 17 and the new iOS 18 with Apple Intelligence.
Some people said they tried turning off the Alert feature, which can lower the volume when an alarm goes off when a face is detected, but that didn't solve the problem for most people.
