It will be one of Biden's last speeches as administrator and comes on the same day as a cease-fire agreement was reached between Israel and Hamas, a major diplomatic victory in the conflict that has defined Biden's final year in office. showed.
Biden wrote a letter ahead of his speech, highlighting his accomplishments on a number of issues over the past four years and calling on Americans to build on his progress.
Since taking office, he has touted improvements in the economy, including lower inflation, higher wages and a recovering job market. The president also praised top accomplishments in infrastructure, competition in the semiconductor industry, measures to protect veterans exposed to toxic substances, and efforts to curb gun violence and climate change.
