The cause of TikTokker Ziale Schneider's death has been revealed more than a month after her body was found in a wooded area in Georgia.
Schneider, 31, was found dead on November 26, 10 days after she was first reported missing to police.
Clayton County authorities confirmed that the content creator died from injuries sustained when his car crashed into a tree, and ruled that the crash was an accident. TMZ coverage.
The father of one was popular on social media under the handle @Big_Homie_TooTall. Instagram and TikTokwas first reported missing in mid-November.
Schneider went missing on Nov. 15 after visiting a nearby strip club. A few days later, around 1 p.m., his family found his body in a crashed silver Toyota 4Runner in the woods, according to reports. FOX5 Atlanta.
“A group of us got together and came out here and went to the woods…and there he was,” the social media star's friend, Gahmekua Bell, told the outlet at the time.
“We knew something was up when he disappeared.”
Officials said they received information from Schneider's family that a body may have been found.
“Police received a call from friends and family of Giare Schneider, who was missing in Forest Park,” Lt. Ricky Porter, a Clayton County police spokesperson, told the magazine.
“Preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle traveled westbound on Brown Road, traveled through grass and struck a tree at the rear of the property.”
Officials said the forest where the body was found is 25 minutes away from the content creator's home.
He was also located several hundred yards away from a “content house” he allegedly visited earlier in the evening, the newspaper said.
Schneider's family became even more worried when they noticed that Schneider hadn't called his son in days, which was unusual for him.
Their concerns were further heightened when Schneider did not post any social media content to her profile for over a week.
His loved ones expressed frustration at the “lack of assistance” from law enforcement after discovering his body.
“of course, [we’re] “We're relieved that we found him, but we're still angry that we didn't get the resources and help that we were looking for,” said one family friend. “His son, that's all we can think about.”
