On Friday, a perverted parolee who had been arrested 30 times and was banned from the subway was arrested again underground after sexually assaulting two women, police said.
The suspect, Cecil McKenzie, 53, of Harlem, was riding a train to the 14th Street/Union Square subway station in Manhattan around 9:30 a.m. when he pressed his crotch against the groin of a 22-year-old woman and put his hand on the buttocks of another woman. McKenzie, who previously served time in prison for sex crimes, fought with officers who witnessed the attack but was eventually taken into custody, the NYPD wrote in a post on X.

“They knew the man well because he had been arrested more than a dozen times on charges including persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. He was on parole and was also a traffic offender who was not allowed to ride the subway.
McKenzie was charged in Friday's incident with persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, sexual abuse, disorderly conduct and harassment.
The 5-foot-8, 170-pound man is being held at Rikers on $100,000 bail or $300,000 bond, records show.
He began serving time at Fishkill Correctional Facility in 2017 for persistent sexual abuse and was released on parole on June 3.
According to police officials, about half of the arrests have been sealed.
