Barefoot Mack Hollins arrives for Bills’ playoff clash baring his chest

Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins showed up at Highmark Stadium looking like he was ready to spend a day at the beach.

With temperatures around 20 degrees and a light snow falling, Hollins entered the building wearing a bucket hat, Hawaiian shirt and what appeared to be Bills-colored swimming trunks.

“Wear sunscreen even on a cloudy day,” Hollins yelled as he walked past the media on his way to the locker room.

The Bills receiver also did not wear shoes, something he has done for years.

The team posted another video of Hollins walking on the field in more weather-appropriate clothing, but still barefoot as the storm raged around him.

The National Weather Service suggested the temperature at kickoff in Buffalo was about 18 degrees, and with wind chill it could feel as cold as 11 degrees.

Hollins is no stranger to getting creative with his game day attire this season.

In Week 11, Hollins appeared in the game against the Chiefs. among construction workers Clothes.

In Week 13, he showed up after a snowstorm in Western New York. dressed like a mad scientistAnd when the Bills played the Broncos in the wild-card round, he showed up at Highmark Stadium dressed as Fred Flintstone, complete with a buffalo hat with horns on his head.

The NFL journeyman is in his first season in Buffalo and is beloved by the fan base for his eccentricity.

Hollins had 31 catches for 378 yards and five touchdowns during the regular season, and one catch for 19 yards in this year's postseason.

The decision not to wear shoes was a decision he made a while ago. NBC Sports Philadelphia interviewHe explained that part of the rationale for this is hygiene.

“It's so funny that people look at me like that, even though my shoes are definitely dirtier than my feet,” Hollins told the magazine. “I always wash my feet. When was the last time you washed the soles of your shoes?”
