Trump will vow to enact ‘revolution’ in inaugural address

President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in on Monday as the 47th president of the United States. In his long-awaited inaugural address, President Trump will vow to build a new golden age for all Americans over the next four years.

In his inaugural address, President Trump will point to the broader cultural and political movement his administration is spearheading and promise an optimistic return to normalcy.

“I return to the presidency with confidence and optimism that we are at the beginning of a thrilling new era of national success,” President Trump said. say. “A wave of change is sweeping this country.”

“With these actions, we will begin a complete restoration of America and a revolution of common sense.”

President Trump added: “My message to the American people today is that it's time for us to act again with courage and vitality and the vitality of the greatest civilization in history.”

Within hours of taking the oath of office, President Trump has signaled he may sign more than 200 executive orders aimed at securing the border, cutting federal DEI programs and lowering the cost of living for Americans.

“Today, I am signing a series of historic executive orders,” President Trump will say. “With these actions, we will begin a complete restoration of America and a revolution of common sense.”

His second inaugural address struck a more inspiring and optimistic tone compared to his 2017 inaugural address, in which he spoke of the “American carnage” the country had endured.

Trump is scheduled to take the oath of office at noon under the direction of Chief Justice John Roberts.
