Days of Our Lives alum Francisco San Martín has passed away. He was 39 years old.
The actors who played Dario Hernandez and Javier Rodriguez on the long-running NBC soap opera were found dead in their home Thursday. according to the deadline.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed to the magazine on Monday that the cause of death was suicide by hanging.
One of San Martín's former co-stars later released a statement mourning his death.
“Pepe, what can I say, I love you and rest in peace, my friend,” Camila Banus wrote on Instagram. According to Forbes. “I love you so much.”
The 34-year-old actress, who played San Martín's sister Gabi Hernandez, concluded: “I wish we had talked more.”
San Martín appeared in 59 episodes of the show from 2010 to 2011. According to IMDb.
He then played a groundskeeper named Mateo on The Bold and the Beautiful for 16 episodes in 2017.
That same year, San Martín played property manager Fabian Regalo del Cielo in seven episodes of Jane the Virgin.

San Martín was born on the Spanish island of Mallorca, raised in Montana, and moved to Madrid as a teenager to pursue an acting career.
