CNN, a far-left propaganda station that spreads conspiracy theories and political information violenceaccording to various reports, is so excited that he has to call his doctor every four hours because he plans to lay off hundreds of people.
“CNN reportedly plans to lay off 'hundreds' of employees early in President Trump's second administration.” report fox business. “CEO Mark Thompson will announce the network cuts to staff on Thursday.”[.]”
Unsurprisingly, on CNN, the rich stay rich: Per CNBCthese layoffs “do not affect CNN's most prominent names under contract.”
Jake Tapper could do a lot of good if he was only willing to donate half of his reported $7 million annual salary to save these jobs. But he doesn't because he loves the military.
The layoffs come as CNN reorganizes its terrestrial television lineup and builds out its digital subscription product. The cuts will help CNN reduce production costs and consolidate its team, said the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the private changes.
Some shows produced in New York and Washington could be moved to Atlanta, where they can be produced more cheaply, officials said.

As Breitbart News previously reported, if it wanted to buy CNN in 2021, it would cost $4.4 billion. Today, fake outlets can be purchased for about half that amount, at $2.3 billion.
why?
The main reason is that total revenue has declined by $400 million in just three years. CNN's revenue in 2021 was $2.2 billion. In 2023, that number dropped to $1.8 billion. During the same period, CNN's profits fell from $600 million to $400 million.
CNN is dying.

CNN just lost a brutal defamation lawsuit.
In a media world built on merit, CNN would have been captured and disappeared years ago. The only thing that has kept CNN afloat is aggressive cable/satellite TV pricing reform. About 57 million ducks still pay their cable bills, and nearly all of those ducks pay about $1 a month directly to CNN from their cable bills, even if they don't watch CNN. That's $57 million a month in free money from people who don't even watch the channel. How sweet is this? You're talking about an annual income of about $600 million, which has nothing to do with merit.
Ten years ago, with 100 million people subscribing to cable TV, CNN was raking in more than $1 billion a year.
So let's do the math…
If CNN makes $400 million a year in net income, where would it be without that $600 million in cable TV affirmative action?
Where it should be: Bankruptcy.
That means CNN loses millions of dollars for free because millions of people cut their cable cords every year. Most of these cord-cutters have moved to streaming, where there are no shipping charges. This means CNN is ultimately doomed to the lowly status of a free add-on that no one watches on the Max streaming service.
CNN is too shamed, too hated, and too ignored to survive on the merits of ad revenue based on viewership. Catheter companies have limited advertising budgets.
I have been predicting and reporting on this inevitability for over a decade. When you see it finally come to fruition…well, maybe you should call the doctor.
