Instagram luring TikTok influencers with $50K cash bonuses: report

This isn't the first time Meta has tried to poach creators with bonus incentives, but it wasn't as successful as expected.

In 2021, Instagram offered a bonus program that gives creators up to $35,000 per post to drive them to Instagram Reels, but in 2022, users can cut their payments. The program ended up being completely abandoned In 2023.

As the future of the TikTok app remains uncertain, Instagram has made other changes in the past few weeks to attract TikTok users.
