Cam Newton continues to make inroads into the media post-football, and the media is going absolutely nuts. newton appeared first take Thursday about whether it's okay that he hasn't spoken to the media since the disastrous playoff game in which Mark Andrews fumbled for the ball and failed to convert a game-tying two-point conversion, essentially clinching the AFC Championship berth to the Bills. I plan to express my opinion.
Cam quickly jumped to the player's defense, saying it's fine that Andrews hasn't said anything publicly, before comparing Andrews' silence to FOX Sports' silence after a sexual misconduct lawsuit.

you know Stephen A. Smith shut his mouth and couldn't say anything, and you said something outrageous. Much of the Fox lawsuit focuses on Smith's former ESPN co-host Skip Bayless.which is probably why Stephen A. didn't want to say anything.
On the one hand, I understand where Cam is coming from. What he's trying to say is that everyone in sports should be held to the same standards if they don't want to speak publicly, but at the same time – hey, this is a weird way to go about it.
