Falcons’ Antonio Hamilton Sr. has home broken into

There seems to be no end to robberies of professional athletes' homes.

After several high-profile incidents in recent months, Falcons cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr. had his Georgia home burglarized early Friday morning. According to TMZ.

Three men were seen on security cameras breaking into the house through the back door and rummaging through the house while Hamilton, who turned 32 on Friday, was out.

Roswell police were called to the residence just after midnight, but the newspaper said the three had already fled the residence, taking a safe containing “firearms and multiple high-value handbags.”

Hamilton appeared to reference the incident by sharing a Bible verse on Instagram early Friday morning, writing, “And you never know when that time will come, so be careful!” Be alert!

The robbery follows the arrest of four Chileans earlier this week for breaking into Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow's Ohio home in December.

Prior to Burrow, Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes each committed robberies in October.

In late December, Mavericks star Luka Doncic had about $30,000 worth of jewelry stolen from his home following the robbery of fellow NBA players Bobby Portis Jr. and Mike Conley Jr.

And just a few days ago, Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome's home was burglarized during a road trip to Cleveland.

Even before what happened to Hamilton, the NFL and NBA had been warning players about how professional athletes were being targeted by the criminal group the South American ring said was behind the incident. .

According to ESPN, these groups are “well-organized and sophisticated rings that incorporate advanced techniques and technology, including proactive surveillance, drones, and signal jamming devices.”
