Washington's commanders fanned the ball out for the third turnover of the NFC Championship against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and some confusion ensued as Saquon Barkley led his team to the goal line. Ta.
Barkley was busted free for a 22-yard run on the third play of the drive, adding the Eagles to the lead within a yard.

Jalen Hurts tried to get into the end zone but was stopped. Commander defensive lineman Jonathan Allen was asked to be a defensive off guard. Then, after the stoppage, Washington committed three consecutive penalties to try to stop what they knew was coming.
Commanders linebacker Frankie Luv attempted to jump the play for the second time in a row. He was asked to punish the invasion. Allen was then called in for the invasion. The commanders were then warned that if the officials continued to try to jump the play and earn a penalty, they could reward the Eagles with a score.

After Allen's foul, Hurts was able to force his way into the end zone for his fourth touchdown of the game. Philadelphia entered the game up 41-23 with 12:24 to play.
Hurts had the Eagles rolling all game long. He ran the ball into the end zone three times and threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver AJ Brown early in the game.
Barkley ran for two touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 60-yard gallop.
