Patrick Mahomes Gives ‘All Glory To God’ With Chiefs On Verge Of Third Consecutive Super Bowl

It's hard not to like this guy.

After defeating the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC Championship, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to make NFL history. 3 years in a row Super Bowl.

While taking it all in in an interview with the media after the game, Mahomes pointed to one of the things that has gotten him this far in his career: his faith. (Related: After the Eagles advance to the Super Bowl, it's an absolute party in Philadelphia. The views are amazing)

“First of all, I want to give all the glory to God,” Mahomes told CBS Sports' Tracy Wolfson after Kansas City's 32-29 win Sunday night. “None of this would be possible without him. I truly believe that.”

Mahomes then went on to express his love to his teammates, who helped him reach his third consecutive “big game” and reach his third straight ring.

“I'm so proud of my teammates and how they handled themselves. We had a great football team. I'm just speechless. I'm excited for New Orleans,” Mahomes said.

I can't stand the whole Chiefs theme or whatever you want to call it, but I can't stand the effectiveness of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, and I can't stand any of them…except Patrick Mahomes. He's a God-fearing guy, his whole family supports Trump (so I guess he is too), he's humble, what's not to like?

I don't have any issues with this guy, other than his poor performance this season and ruining my fantasy football team. Good luck, Patrick. (Still GO BIRDS)
