Jets’ Aaron Glenn, Darren Mougey will both report to Woody Johnson

Jets has adopted Aaron Glenn as a coach, and has changed the organization's report structure by adopting Darren Mouggy as a general manager.

Both men report to the owner Woody Johnson.

MOUGEY controls the roster of 53 people, but is not a Glen boss.

In the past 10 years, Jets has been between the structure of both men reporting to Johnson and the structure reported by the coach to GM.

Robert Sale reported to Joe Douglas in his previous administration.

“We have come and go,” said Johnson. “They both will come to talk to me.”

Glen feels like he has more juice because he was hired first. He was involved in Mougey's second interview last week. At one point on Monday, Johnson called Mouggy a Glenn “buddy.”

MOUGEY said that it was strange that the team hired a coach before GM.

“I think you've seen it actually happening,” said Mugie. “I don't think so. I think they are both [searches] There was their process. There were many dialogue throughout the process with both parties. ”

Glen hesitated to discuss the current Jets player.

However, he evaluated him as the Lions Defense Coordinator in the 2022 draft process, and was familiar with the corner back sources gardner.

Glen, a professional bowl corner back, said he was aware of Gardner's talent.

“He was a very good player,” Glen said about the draft process. “So he created a professional bowl when he was here. He was in the process he was doing last year, we are looking at it. If there is a problem, we will fix it. I hope he will be a professional bowler.

Glenn was asked what Jets's attack identity wanted.

“We will be Jets in New York,” Glen said. “When you see us, you can see the identity at that point. I always say that my family is staying at home, so I go outside this building. We don't intend to put it, and we will know what our identity will be.

JETS DT QUINNEN WILLIAMS was nominated as a professional bowl game as an alternative to the chief star, CHRIS JONES.
