Chuck Pagano unretiring for Ravens reunion as defensive backs coach

Chuck Pagano has been retired to join the former boss again.

A 64 -year -old former Coltz head coach agreed to become a Senior Code of Ravens, on Tuesday night.

John Herbo, a coach of Baltimore, hired Pagano 16 years ago as a defensive coordinator of the first Baltimore staff, and they now reunited.

“It's exciting to add CHUCK PAGANO to defensive staff, develop young and talented secondary, and continue to grow,” Harbaugh said in a statement. “Chuck brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and coaching talent to our team. He has a deep connection with the program and is excited to work.”

Pagano spent the 2011 season in Baltimore before being hired as a Coltz head coach. He missed 12 games during the 2012 season due to the treatment of leukemia.

Pagano has 53-43 in the six seasons in Indianapolis, and has appeared three straight playoffs, with Andrew racks in Quarter Back, including defeating patriots in the 2014 AFC championship game. Included.

Pagano, a 36 -year coaching veteran at all levels, was fired by Coltz after performing a non -play -off season three consecutive times in 2017, four to 12 times.

He retired in 2021 two seasons as a Bears defensive coordinator under Matt Nagagi.

Since 2022, he has been a contribution to the Pat McAfee show, who has been losing to the Bills in the Division Round this season, and has been working to help Ravens overcoming AFC's bumps.
