Barclays technical issues continue more than 24 hours on from initial outage – Yahoo Finance UK

Large IT glitches have influenced Barclays for more than 24 hours since the bank's first suspension, and some customers continue to pay for problems.

Banks have warned that some people may see outdated balance, warning that they may not be paid or received.

Barclays has told customers that they are facing “continuous technical issues that affect customer accounts.”

“We guarantee that customers are not left out of pockets,” said the bank on Saturday.

PA News Agency understands that stop is caused by technical issues, and is not currently associated with cyber attacks.

The suspension began on the same day as the payday in January of many British workers, and the deadline for self -evaluation tax declaration began.

Stop tracker down detectors claim that thousands of customers are experiencing issues on mobile banking, online banking, and billing bills on Saturdays.

Barclays stated that ATMs could not be affected and that customers could withdraw cash and use cards.

In the statement, HMRC minimizes the impact on the people who submit self -evaluation and minimizes the HMRC services “functioning as usual”. I said that I was doing it.

The problem related to the suspension of Barclays, added by the HMRC spokeswoman, was added that the Penalty of HMRC was not delayed because the Palace of HMRC was not delayed.

Among the people affected by the stop, there was a 39 -year -old civil servant Paola Mel.

Paola Mereu, 39 years old, intended to sell a family's house and complete the purchase of a new house on Friday (Paola Mereu/Pa).

Mrs. Mel sold her home to Ukusbridge, where she lived with her husband and two 7 -year -old daughters, and my family was to move to a new West Sussex house on Friday.

She told the PA News Agency: The problem and we cannot complete sales.

“So we sold the house -then we had money -but we were essentially homeless because we couldn't complete other parts of sales.
