DEI is straight up anti-American — point, blank, period.
A good amount of companies and other businesses across America have closed the doors on their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, and it’s been a nice trend to see. Finally, brands are starting to understand that hiring people based on race and gender won’t bring you the best workers.
Well, except for the NFL, who have no interest in ending their DEI program. (RELATED: ‘How Do We Spell’?: Eagles Legend Fletcher Cox Magnificently Trolls Philadelphia Mayor Over Embarrassing Mistake)
Talking to the press Monday, commissioner Roger Goodell said that the league’s DEI arm will continue on. And bringing up “people with different backgrounds,” he actually believes that this is helping the NFL get the best employees, something that I highly doubt considering the amount of people who get ruled out based on identity politics.
“I am proud in this sense in that I believe our diversity efforts are making the NFL better,” said Goodell during the yearly state-of-the NFL press conference. “It’s attracted better talent. We think when we get different perspectives, people with different backgrounds, whether they’re women or men or people of color, we make ourselves stronger.
“And we make ourselves better when we have that. It’s something that I think will have a tremendous impact on this league for many, many years. We win on the field with the best talent and the best coaching and I think the same is true off the field.”
Roger Goodell on continuing the NFL’s DEI policies:
“It does make the NFL better. We’re not in this because it’s a trend to get in or a trend to get out of it. Our efforts are fundamental in trying to attract the best possible talent.” pic.twitter.com/cYMK6sfjI7

You really had to do this during Super Bowl week, huh Roger?
